Kimud Shoal
A small plateau whose top lies at about 12 m, with thresher shark cleaning stations at roughly 12–22 m, located east of Malapascua toward the Leyte coast (45–60 minutes by boat). Since about 2022 it is the main place for daily thresher shark dives at sunrise, and it lies in a marine protected area. Tech divers also report schooling hammerheads here at much greater depth.
