Jaskinia Miętusia (Tatra Mts)
A 10.8 km cave with two diving areas: Ciasne Kominy (southern lake about 135 m of passage, Wiktor Bolek's dives in the late 1990s, later deepened to -85 m in August 2001) and the Wielkie Kominy sump (about 210 m surveyed, leading to the hall Podwójne Życie Weroniki). Bolek used nitrox, air and trimix; the Ciasne Kominy dives were among the deepest in Polish caves. The two series were connected in late 1998. The depth shown is the -85 m reported by Polish Caving.
Facts
- Region: Poland – Tatra Caves & Sumps
- Area: Tatra Mountains (Tatra National Park)
- Depth: 0–85 m
- Level: advanced
- Current: low
- Type: cave
- Coordinates: 49.2464, 19.8989 (approximate)
- Highlights: deep technical sumps, Ciasne Kominy shafts
- Permit: All Tatra caves lie inside Tatra National Park. Entry needs a Karta Taternika Jaskiniowego or a TPN licence (or a cave-course place under a licensed instructor), the team leader must register the trip at jaskinie.tpn.pl, and research/exploration (including dives) needs separate permission from the park directorate. Individual caves can be closed - check TPN's current notice first. Cave-diving needs full cave-diver certification plus caving/SRT skills (our recommendation, not a TPN text). (source: tpn.gov.pl)

- Unverified: Current access status and recent diving not confirmed; sump figures from Polish Caving via search summaries (page blocked), partly conflicting with pl.wikipedia (135 m southern vs 70 m depth).
- Tips: The sources are 1998-2001 era; recent diving activity and current TPN access are not confirmed. Technical (mixed-gas) cave diving, SRT shafts and a TPN permit are required.
