Saonek Kecil
Saonek Kecil (also Saonek Monde) is a small island about 2 km south of Waisai harbour. Its sheltered position keeps it calm, so liveaboards use it for check dives. A sandy bottom with garden eels and coral bommies hides critters. At dusk mandarinfish appear, which makes it a favourite night dive.
