Cape Ronek, Strunjan cliff (TILOS / no diving)
Diving is prohibited. Cape Ronek, the most exposed point in the middle of the Strunjan cliff, lies in the central part of the Strunjan Nature Reserve, where the Decree on the Strunjan Landscape Park (Uradni list RS 107/2004), Article 9(4)(3), bans scuba diving except for nature-conservation purposes; the park also bans navigation and anchoring in this zone (Moon Bay and the Ronek area). The 2013 PAS sheet nevertheless described rich growth on exposed rocks and seagrass coves between 1 and 8 m, a moderate longshore current and a very steep footpath down from the olive groves. It is listed only so divers know it is closed.

- Tips: Do not dive here. The central zone is marked at sea by two yellow buoys about 1,300 m apart. Walkers can see the cliff from the coastal path between Izola and Strunjan or from the viewpoints on top. For a legal dive under the same cliff, Cape Kane below Belvedere (eastern end, outside the central zone) is the nearest alternative.
