Idrijca at Dolenja Trebuša
At Dolenja Trebuša the Trebuščica joins the Idrijca, creating several 3–4 m pools and leaving the wreckage of an old bridge, whose concrete blocks and iron are now hideouts for fish. In summer the Idrijca is warm and clear with a weak current, so this is an easy, shallow dive also used for beginner courses. Upstream of the road bridge the river is only about 1 m deep for 500 m, better for snorkelling, but a bigger fish waits behind every large rock. The sheet especially recommends it as a freshwater night dive.

- Tips: Park on the grassy car park right at the confluence or, when bathers fill it on hot days, at the asphalt car park by the inn at the junction; a track leads to an easy entry at the confluence. Two 30-minute dives: downstream to the pool under the wall, or upstream to the bridge wreckage. Further upstream you will have to stand up in shallows with full gear, so snorkel there.
