Krka pools at Zagradec
Below the bridge in Zagradec the Krka forms two of its deeper and most easily reached pools between weirs. The 2016 PAS sheet (updated 2017) describes the upper pool as short, about 5 m deep in the middle, reached by swimming 15 minutes upstream along the right bank and back along the weir, where fish gather. The lower pool is longer and about 7 m deep: you swim downstream along the left bank to the weir in some 20 minutes and return along the calmer right bank. Small tufa walls, tufa shallows and fish hiding between the stones make it a pleasant, easy river dive.
