Lake Lužnica (Krn mountains) (TILOS / no diving)
Diving is prohibited. Lake Lužnica lies at almost 1,800 m in the Peski glacial valley of the Krn range, inside the first protection zone of Triglav National Park, where ZTNP-1 Art. 15(1)(17) bans swimming, diving and boating; the park's 2012 letter also names Lužnica. The small lake (about 70 × 50 m, up to 8 m deep) is described in the atlas for its clear, very cold water, strange algae formations and tiny crustaceans – a fragile ecosystem that the ban protects.
