Lake Planšar (Zgornje Jezersko)
Lake Planšar at Zgornje Jezersko is what remains of a much larger glacial lake, now held back by a small dam on its north side. The triangular 2 ha lake is fed by the cold Jezernica brook and drains partly over a sluice next to the inn and partly through sinkholes in its western part. It is very shallow – a little over 2 m at the sinkholes – so the 2013 PAS sheet recommends spending most of the dive in the west, where there are also more fish. It is an easy, scenic mountain dip rather than a deep dive.
