Pršjak waterfall pools (Trebuša)
Several steep side ravines run down into the Trebuša valley, and the Pršjak ravine is among the best known, with an old mule track leading past a series of waterfalls. The main attraction is the wide pool below the 27 m Veliki Pršjak (Slap v Sopotih), though gravel often fills it to only about 2.5 m. A small, dark pool under an overhanging rock goes slightly deeper, and the pool under Mali Pršjak usually reaches 3 m. Fish are scarce after decades of overfishing, but every pool is full of newts.

- Tips: Park at the inn's car park; at the bridge over the Pršjak a sign points to the falls (about 20 minutes to Veliki Pršjak). Walk it first without gear. Then go dressed as for canyoning: wetsuit on at the car park, small items in the BCD pockets, a 5 l cylinder with fins hung on it, hands free for scrambling; use stones from the stream as weight. The lower pools need a scramble over a fall above the dark pool. Bring a torch. Beware of careless canyoning groups. Best at medium-low water. The sheet dates from 2014.
