Sava Bohinjka gorge at Ribčev Laz
Just below Lake Bohinj, the Sava Bohinjka (fed by the warm Jezernica and the cold, oxygen-rich Mostnica) cuts a short, scenic gorge at Ribčev Laz that ends in a deep pool. Fish of many species and sizes thrive in it. The dive starts in the pool at the end of the gorge and works upstream along the bottom to the deepest point, about 10 m, where the walls close in and tree crowns touch overhead; beyond, the gorge gets shallower and the current stronger. It is a short but lively mountain-river dive with strong current and double air use.

- Unverified: Unverified: the river is in the park's Bohinj area but is not named as an allowed place in the park's 2012 letter. The Lake Bohinj exemption may not cover the river below the lake, so the park's consent may be needed – or diving may not be allowed at all. No official statement allowing it was found.
- Tips: Park at the large Hotel Bohinj car park, walk the path past the tennis court to the pool without gear first, then carry your kit about 200 m. Enter and exit only in the pool – the upper gorge has sheer walls. Do not let the current take you or your gear into the rapids. Dive only at medium-low water (below 15 m³/s), take extra weight, and expect double air use. Watch out for kayakers. Depths change after floods. The sheet dates from 2012.
