El Galeón (Lys galleon wreck, San Pedro de Alcántara)
A shallow wooden wreck scattered across the seabed off San Pedro de Alcántara, at a maximum of about 6-7 m. It was thought to be a French galleon burned and sunk by its own crew in 1704, though a silver coin dated 1682 suggests a more complex origin. Large cannons, buttons and belt buckles remain, and it is used for courses and baptism dives. Position estimated from the nearest coast or landmark, for orientation only.
