Los Amarillos (Los Burros, Cala de los Amarillos)
Los Amarillos (also called Los Burros) lies near San José at the southern end of Playa de los Genoveses, on a sandy bottom between roughly 15 and 23 m (one guide gives 18-21 m). Groupers and amberjacks are common, sunfish are sometimes seen, and the name comes from the ochre volcanic rock. A current is possible; there is no mooring buoy, so the boat anchors in the sandy channel. Position estimated from the nearest coast or landmark, for orientation only.
