Boreas wreck (Palamós)
The Boreas is a former German deep-sea tug (Pellworm) later seized off Begur in 1985 with a cargo of hashish, bought by dive centres and sunk off Palamós for diving after dangerous protrusions were removed. It lies at 25 to 32 m with the top at about 18 m, about five minutes by boat from the Palamós marina, and is described as one of Catalonia's best wreck dives. Position estimated from maps and place names, for orientation only.
