Illes Formigues
The Illes Formigues are a group of small rocky islets between Palamós and Calella de Palafrugell, in a reserve. Dives run roughly 10 to 50 m among large rocks, caves and canyons carved by currents and lined with red gorgonians; a dive-site guide describes it for advanced divers, and lobsters, octopus, moray eels and many nudibranchs are reported. Position estimated from maps and place names, for orientation only.
