La Dragonera wreck (Parc Subaquàtic de Tarragona)
La Dragonera is a roughly 65 m cargo ship sunk as an artificial reef in December 1994 in the Parc Subaquàtic de Tarragona, outside the Llevant breakwater of the port, on a sand and mud bottom at 14 to 24 m. Its deck lies at about 19 m and it is broken in places, so experienced divers can enter the interior; lobsters, rays, octopus, conger eels and groupers live on it. The park (about 25 m maximum depth) is run by the non-profit Societat d'Exploracions Submarines. Position estimated from maps and place names, for orientation only.
