Piscinas de Neptuno

A 'wild' reservoir dive in a natural setting down to about 18 m, listed among the Guadalajara reservoir sites.

Facts

• Region: Spain – Inland Caves, Reservoirs & Rivers
• Area: Guadalajara – Entrepeñas & Buendía reservoirs
• Depth: 0–18 m
• Level: intermediate
• Current: moderate
• Type: lake, reservoir
• Coordinates: 40.409017, -2.7539588 (approximate)
• Highlights: 'wild' reservoir dive in a natural setting
• Tips: Buceo H2o (the Guadalajara dive centre that publishes this site) lists no dive rules or level for it; the level here is an estimate from the depth. Reservoir levels change with rainfall and drought, so the exact position is approximate – confirm the meeting point and conditions with the centre. Fresh water needs extra weight and a thermocline-ready suit (cold below about 6 m).
