Río Tajo – Playa Blanca (El Empalme)
A pool on the Tajo about 300 m from El Empalme near the Carlos III spa in Trillo: gradual entry from ankle depth, a sheltered bay with almost still water and a gentle drift against the river's flow, dives to about 6 m at 21–23 °C. Bleak, gudgeon, black bass, barbel over 50 cm, and (per the centre's fish guide) pike and river shrimp. The centre calls it ideal for introductory dives.

- Tips: Buceo H2o (the Guadalajara dive centre that publishes this site) lists no dive rules or level for it; the level here is an estimate from the depth. Fresh water needs extra weight and a thermocline-ready suit (cold below about 6 m).
