Punta Prima
Moored on the cape, where the submerged rock tongue runs far out to sea, the dive follows a wall with huge boulders lying on sand at about 27 m. Brown meagre and groupers use the boulder terraces, and the stones are covered in false coral, sponges and bryozoans; some form windows and arches that should not be swum through to protect the growth. Octopus and moray eels are easy to find on the way back along the shallower wall, and slipper lobsters depending on the season. Barracuda shoals hang over the Posidonia. The position is the Consell de Formentera catalogue GPS.
