Cueva del Elefante – Altea
Altea circuit with a submerged cave named after a nearby elephant-head rock formation; the route also passes the Dwarf's Cave (Cueva del Enano), with walls covered in yellow encrusting anemones and chimneys. Maximum depth is 14 m, average about 8 m. The Generalitat page calls it a pretty, uncomplicated circuit but advises diving with a recognised local centre and notes that buoyancy control during depth changes can be challenging. The Celacanto centre in Altea lists both caves. Position is the map link on that page, approximate.
