Illa del Descobridor – Cap de la Nau
Small cliff-ringed island of about 2.5 ha just south of Cap de la Nau (Xàbia), a cormorant colony above water. The Xàbia/Marina Alta heritage page says its underwater life is rich in species and popular with divers, and that it belongs to the Cap de Sant Antoni marine reserve. A Sea-Seek listing calls it a deep dive site with slopes and rock formations sheltering a wide variety of life and warns that the narrow channel between island and mainland cannot be used. We found no depth profile; ask a Xàbia centre for the current briefing and reserve rules. Position is approximate.
