Morro de Toix – Calpe
Calpe municipal route along a wall near Cape Toix in the Mascarat area; the anchor point is about 20 m, and the boat anchors before or after the cape depending on current or preference. The sandy bottom gives way to stones and then large submerged rock blocks; the dive follows the wall southeast with depth increasing towards the point and returns along the gently sloping wall for a comfortable decompression stop. Lobsters, moray and conger eels, octopus, tiny nudibranchs, flatworms, yellow encrusting anemones and the colourful cnidarian Cribrinopsis crassa are listed. Position is estimated from the route description.
