Blue Belt (Toyota) Wreck – Sha'ab Su'adi
Cargo ship that sank on 2 December 1977 at the northern end of Sha'ab Su'adi, an 11 km long reef north of Port Sudan, with a cargo of cars, trucks and tractors. The wreck originally lay upside down on the slope from about 20 m to 36 m, with the vehicles scattered around it; in 2013 the hull slipped off the reef into water beyond recreational limits, so today the scattered cargo is the attraction. Napoleon wrasse and mantas are sometimes seen on the reef to the north.
