Koh Chuang
The largest island dived in the Samae San group, about 8 km south of the harbour. Fringing reefs and rocky outcrops run from 5 m along the shore to about 18 m, with several named spots such as Japanese Gardens, Ban Tahan bay and Had Nam Kwaew. Turtles, blue-spotted stingrays, morays, fusiliers, angelfish and butterflyfish are common, and soft corals and nudibranchs cover the deeper parts.
