Koh Ma
Koh Ma is a small island off Mae Haad on Koh Pha Ngan's north-west coast, joined to the main island by a walkable sandbar. A gently sloping fringing reef with staghorn, brain, boulder, whip and fan corals surrounds it down to about 20 m. A shallow anemone field of roughly 30 × 30 m at 2–4 m is the signature feature. Fusiliers, trevally and yellowfin barracuda school here, blue-spotted stingrays are common and green turtles or blacktip reef sharks turn up occasionally.
