Hin Daeng
Hin Daeng ('Red Rock') is an isolated pinnacle far out in the open Andaman Sea whose top breaks the surface at low tide. Its walls are carpeted in red soft coral and drop steeply beyond recreational depth, with the south-west face reported to fall past 60 m. Schools of trevally, jacks and barracuda hang off the walls, and manta rays use cleaning stations here in the high season, most often reported from about January to April. A whale shark passes through in some years.
