Koh Haa 1 (The Chimney)
Koh Haa 1 is the island known for the Chimney, a vertical tunnel system on its south-western corner: divers enter at about 18 m and rise through the shaft to an exit at around 5 m. At the top is a roomy 'fish bowl' swim-through, and large boulders with further swim-throughs lie in front of the Chimney before the bottom drops to sand around 30 m. Cave sweepers fill the passages, and harlequin shrimp, ghost pipefish, seahorses and frogfish are reported along with turtles and schools of barracuda.
