Koh Haa #2
Koh Haa #2 is one of the small limestone pillars on the north-east rim of the Koh Haa lagoon. From the lagoon side a gentle slope starts at about 4 m, while the outer back of the islet drops past 30 m, where garden eels sit in the sand and schools of yellow snapper circle the base. Glassfish blanket the walls, a school of juvenile barracuda patrols the sandy slope towards #4, and hawksbill turtles come to feed on bubble coral. Ornate ghost pipefish, frogfish and harlequin shrimp are among the macro finds reported here.
