Bungalow Bay
Bungalow Bay cuts deep into the western side of Racha Yai and is split into a northern and a southern side with similar features. The northern side is a reef slope of staghorn coral and small rock outcrops down to about 22 m, ending on sand; the southern side has staghorn and pore corals with big boulders along the island edge. The white sand makes it a favourite training site, and patient divers find ornate and seagrass ghost pipefish, unusual nudibranchs, Kuhl's stingrays, flounder, cuttlefish and big octopus.
