Harruby Wreck
The Harruby is a former liveaboard scuttled in 2011 between Bays 1 and 2 on the east side of Racha Yai, one of several wrecks placed here by the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources. Its top is at about 10 m and the hull rests at 20 m, so it suits all certified divers and is the standard local wreck for Wreck Specialty training. A large school of batfish lives around it, with barracuda, scorpionfish and bannerfish; ornate ghost pipefish appear occasionally and snake eels poke out of the sand nearby. An old wooden Thai fishing boat lies a little deeper east of its bow.
