Koh Bida Nok
Koh Bida Nok is the larger of the two Bida islets just south of Phi Phi Leh and probably the most popular dive in the archipelago. A sheltered bay on the south side starts at 2–8 m and is used for training, with blacktip reef sharks in the shallows at high tide. Around the island there are walls to about 30 m on the north and west with soft corals and big gorgonian fans, the 'Finger Reef' with large schools of fish and many moray eels, an illuminated vertical swim-through in the south-west and a narrow cave entrance at 20 m on the north side. Leopard sharks rest on the deeper sand, turtles are common and whale sharks pass occasionally (mainly Nov–Apr).
