Bays 4 & 5
Bays 4 and 5 sit at the south-east end of Racha Yai and are dived less often than the northern bays, though they are gaining popularity. Both start shallow, but rock formations drop away to about 30 m and beyond, giving more structure than the sandy bays where the coral stops at 18–20 m. Visibility is often better here thanks to the rocks, depth and lower traffic, and manta and eagle rays have been spotted.
