Siam Bay
Siam Bay is the northernmost bay of Racha Yai: rocky edges frame a sandy centre with patches of hard coral. On the sand at about 18–20 m stand concrete monuments – two elephants and a temple gate guarded by a Thai yak giant – marked by a mooring line. Kuhl's stingrays and peacock flounder hide in the sand, while parrotfish, triggerfish, butterflyfish and barracuda patrol the reef. Turtles, octopus, cuttlefish, stonefish and flathead crocodilefish also turn up.
