Staghorn Reef
Staghorn Reef lies between Bay 2 and Bay 3 on the east side of Racha Yai. It was once a long, thriving staghorn coral reef that was badly damaged by the 2010 bleaching, but new staghorn patches are regrowing. It is a good place for large pharaoh cuttlefish and octopus, with a sprinkling of soft anemone corals. On a rising tide the current can run strongly north.
