The Plateau
The Plateau is described as a massive rock formation about 150 m off the southern end of Racha Noi, starting at around 12 m and dropping beyond 70 m – far deeper than recreational limits at the bottom. Soft corals and sea fans cover it, and a large school of blackfin barracuda, Napoleon wrasse and manta rays are regular visitors. Currents are often strong, so it is for experienced divers only.
