St George (Agios Georgios) reef
St George is one of the most popular dives of Hersonissos, named after a nearby church. It is a wall dive in two parts: the shallow part runs from 3-6 m down to 10-12 m and suits all certified divers, with a small cave if the guide judges it safe; the deep part goes from 10-12 m to 18 m and is not recommended for complete beginners (Heraklion Diving Center).
