Marianna Wreck
The Marianna, a 2,999-ton cargo ship loaded with barley, iron sheets, pipes and fertiliser, hit a reef (now called Amara) on 24 July 1981 and sank; all 24 crew got off safely. The wreck lies at about 20–25 m with a short boat ride and excellent listed visibility. It is not on the ministry's list of historic wrecks because it sank after 1970.
