Volta Wreck (Leros, status unconfirmed)
The Italian auxiliary ship A. Volta (2,779 t) was sunk by two British motor torpedo boats on 9 October 1943 during the Battle of Leros. A wreck page gives a position at the Aspronissia islets between Leros and Lipsi and a depth of only about 10 m; local eyewitnesses say the hull was scrapped after the war and only the keel remains.
