Bimoli Wreck
The Bimoli is a WWII Japanese freighter of about 100 m lying on its side near Bitung, in the busy shipping area, with its deepest parts at about 35 m. Part of its cargo of bakelite remains. Scrap-metal salvage around 2006 removed much of the upper structure, including the propeller and gun, and visibility and boat noise can be poor.
