Fan 38
Fan 38 is split into two adjacent wall dives, East and West, on the north face of the outer barrier reef near Sawa and Lintea. A shallow coral plateau leads to walls, ridges, canyons, caverns and sandy patches, where current-facing sections carry gorgonian fans more than 2 m across surrounded by anthias and glassfish. Small swim-throughs and overhangs hide pygmy seahorses, and a giant frogfish, tiger flatworms and nudibranchs are reported.
