Koparki – Diving Marina (Jaworzno-Szczakowa)
Koparki is a flooded former dolomite quarry (the old Gródek pit) in Jaworzno-Szczakowa that filled with water after the pumps were switched off in the mid-1990s. On the bottom lie two large excavators, a blasting bunker, a transformer station and a pumping station. The basin is about 3.5 ha with a maximum depth of 18-19 m, with three piers, ladders and training platforms. Night dives can be arranged and a compressor and nitrox cylinder rental are available.
