Cova de sa Madona (Cala Llamp cave)
A cave about 20 m wide in the Cala Llamp cliff wall on the Andratx coast. The mouth is at around 7 m and the inner chamber drops to 25 m; two domes with air pockets allow you to surface, and fresh water filtering in forms a halocline that blurs the view. A carved Virgin stands in the back right-hand corner, with anemones and slipper lobsters nearby; scorpionfish, octopus, moray eels, groupers and barracuda live on the boulders outside. The PADI blog notes a cavern starting at 7 m at Sa Madonna. Position estimated, for orientation only.
