Mallorca & Cabrera (Balearic Islands)

Mallorca offers clear, warm-season Mediterranean diving with Posidonia seagrass meadows, walls, sea caves and a small group of wrecks. In the south-west the Illa del Toro and Illes Malgrats marine reserve and the walls of Sa Dragonera sit alongside the sunken cargo ships off Palma harbour, the Illetes islets and the sunken boats of Illa del Sec. The Tramuntana coast has Port de Sóller sites such as the Cova del Cap Gros and Sa Foradada and the Formentor islets and tunnels in the north. The Llevant coast (Cala Ratjada, Canyamel, Cala Millor, Porto Cristo) is a marine reserve with caves, arches and rock sites, and the south-east around Portocolom has islets, drifts and a wooden wreck. Cabrera National Park is dived only with an authorised centre. Positions are estimates from operator and listing pages, and the marine reserves require authorised dive centres.
