Islas Hormigas – integral reserve (DIVING BANNED)
Diving is banned in the integral (no-take) reserve around Isla Hormiga, El Bajo del Mosquito and the islets El Hormigón and La Losa; this is the core of the Cabo de Palos–Islas Hormigas reserve, about 2.5 miles off the cape, and only authorised scientific work is allowed there. Divers visit the surrounding bajos (Bajo de Dentro, Bajo de Fuera and others) instead. Position estimated from map data, for orientation only.
